Bylaws are usually not public documents, but we feel making them public increases our accountability and transparency. We will periodically review and amend them accordingly as MMCAC evolves. An organization’s bylaws are very specific and serve as an operating manual. They define operating rules for Board of Directors such as:

  • How grant monies are spent
  • Board of Directors roles and responsibilities
  • Size of board
  • Conflict of interest/policies and procedures
